Astrology is a system of beliefs that state that the positions of the planets, sun, and the moon can provide information on matters concerning personality and human affairs.

Astrology has been around since Ancient Egyptian and Babylonian times. In Judaism, the prophet Jeremiah urged the people of Israel to not resort to astrology.

"Thus saith the Lord: Learn not the way of the nations, And be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; For the nations are dismayed of them" (Jeremiah 10:2)

Although it was urged not to resort to astrology there is no real prohibition against it, it was even accepted as real by the talmudic rabbis but they debated on whether it actually applied to Jews.

"The Chapters of Rabbi Eliezar" which was written by a well known Jewish sage, delineates how the celestial bodies influence each hour and how each planet rules a different hours of each day.

Overall, Jews aren't really concerned in astrology, only God knows what the future will bring.
